Re: Juanita Bynum Admits To Being Gay
If this woman has repented and turned her life around, I have no idea why this title is being presented here on AFF. Are we digging through the blood of Jesus Christ? I thought that was the devil's job to keep us pressed down with condemnation.

Re: Juanita Bynum Admits To Being Gay
Okay, I'm no Juanita Bynum fan but why would anyone want to dredge up a past that has presumably been repented of?
Matthew 7:1-2
“Do not judge, or you too will be judged. For in the same way you judge others, you will be judged, and with the measure you use, it will be measured to you."
I've been in church "all" my life, too, but I've had times when I wasn't very close to God and I definitely did some things I shouldn't have during those times. I wouldn't want anyone dredging up sins I've repented of and holding them over my head so I'm not going to do that to anyone else.

Re: Juanita Bynum Admits To Being Gay
It's been my experience that three out of every five people you know have had some form of past sexual indiscretion. Why make an issue out of this woman's past?

AMEN.. That is what I said in post #8. The title alone is misleading. Thank you for sharing and agreeing.

But yes you are right, she made it right (I assume).

Growing up in the church doesn't make someone a Christian and it definitely doesn't mean they have a relationship with God. My children have grown up "in" church, but until they have a relationship with God for themselves, everything is "before Christ."

Indeed. She's been set free from that as far as we know. She's suffered through a lot of other issues, the saints need to continuously be lifting her up in pray.
