Great story, funny!
Reminds me of an incident back in the 70's with my mom.
She answered the phone and when the gentleman on the other end said, "who is this" she thought it was my brother joking with her. So she answered, "Tu Madre" which is true, she would have been his mom, yet in hispanic culture, Tu Madre is also an insult and she was having a little fun playing on words with my supposed bro......
It was the General Superintendent of the Apostolic Assembly!!!!!!!!!! She was so mortified and apologized over and over....at least he thought it was funny too!

Ain't God Good!!!
BTW Sandra.....my Aunt Dinah was here all day today. She asked about you and if I had seen you recently...said we were just together about 2 weeks ago. I mentioned the "bedroom eyes" and she laughed and laughed and said...she does not see that, but has been told that by you and Terri!!

Monkeyman,
Was she talking with Bro. Salazar? If so, I can certainly see him getting a kick out of that situation. I roomed with Marlon Salazar and Antonio Roman at TBC my first year! The other fellow in our quad was Raymundo Garcia but he was Texmex instead of Califasmex. We had a blast!
I will never forget the time we went to Cazuelas and I was ordering Tacos Al Carbon and I got the r and the b switched and offended the waiter!
