Cindy Sheehan Quits!!

All of the young men and women who gave their lives will have given them in vain if we cut and run and leave Iraq to a civil war and as a breeding ground for terrorists.

Mistakes have been made and war is a tough long process but the alternative to standing up a strong Iraq government that can keep the peace is disaster long term.

Barb, I don't know if you have watched Cindy Sheehan much on TV but the reason I think she was a wacko long before her son died is her demeanor, mannerisms, etc. I would suspect she has had mental issues for a long time and the tragedy of losing her son just accelerated it.

You may be right, I don't know. Just saw her here and there, CC...thought she was a tragic figure who was grieving and out of it.

I am a product of the 60s...actively protested Viet Nam, so that's where my head is at on war.

In this matter, I defer to you and Pianoman who are much more in sync with what is happening, and rightfully so.

Good riddance.

She hates the President and what the US is doing . . . but she'll stand with Chavez and celebrate his dictatorship.

Note to Cindy . . . has she read the news (can she read?) about Chavez shutting down the biggest (only?) anti-Chavez news station? Think about it, she's whining about how bad Bush is, yet she's still allowed to do it; while the man (Chavez) she had a photo-op with would have shut her down long ago.

I think it's great the Dems have turned on her. They used her while they needed her and then dumped her like the fodder she was. Sad, but she was warned every day by conservatives who knew what the libs and anti-war freaks were doing.

A lot of people saw this coming over a year ago . . .

And about her son's "wasted" life and service in the military . . . it's an all-volunteer military. Her son made his choice and she's dishonoring his memory by saying his life was wasted . . .
