What is wrong with Wal-Mart meat? I don't know because I eat venison and I buy chicken elsewhere.

I buy the bulk of my ammo at Walmart. I would go to Target if they, as a chain, had the guts to actually carry it.

I have to travel 110 miles to get to a Whole Foods store.

I try to find one of the few local stores that still cut their own meat from a side of beef or hog.

The word was around the end of last year was that Walmart was bailing out on ammo. I haven't been in a Walmart since Mid-December so I'm not sure what the status of that rumor is.

That's because Walmart kills a large portion of the mom & pop stores that used to operate and hire before they came to town.

Walmart employees who sought out new Walmart locations used to drive through town and take guesses on how long it would take for this business to fail once walmart opened and how long it would take for that business to fail etc. Not to mention the manufacturers that have been forced to send more US Jobs overseas.

Walmart is all that's left when Walmart comes to town... so your statement is true... but there is a reason behind it and the net result is not positive for the livability of the local economy.
