Let it be understood that Apostolic Friends Forum is an Apostolic Forum.
Apostolic is defined on AFF as:
- There is One God. This one God reveals Himself distinctly as Father, Son and Holy Ghost.
- The Son is God himself in a human form or "God manifested in the flesh" (1Tim 3:16)
- Every sinner must repent of their sins.
- That Jesus name baptism is the only biblical mode of water baptism.
- That the Holy Ghost is for today and is received by faith with the initial evidence of speaking in tongues.

So, you twist a morality lesson into an imaginary torture for a baby;people have been misunderstanding the OT since forever, so what? At least you have enough sense to fear God, even if you refuse to believe He exists. And wadr, I respect myself, and I'm not looking for fans.
Pray tell why you inhabit a Christian website if you disagree with the premise? (Pretend that the tone of your posts don't make that abundantly clear, just for argument's sake) I mean yikes already. Negative much?

I am a Gnostic Christian and in this case, I follow scripture.
Proverbs 3:12
For whom the Lord loveth he correcteth; even as a father the son in whom he delighteth.
Tell us what the moral lesson is in God torturing a baby for 6 days because of what it's father did please.

I see that the Christians here do not practice their faith.
Your attitude caused much death and sorrow when you had power and would again thanks to your idol worship of a vile God.
It was not that way till you all started reading scripture that are myths literally.
Now all you are are idol worshipers of your Godinabook, forgetting that Jesus said that God is within you.
The new Dark Ages is now within literalists hearts as clearly shown here.

Well wadr, GB, the darkest thing on this forum is your posts! Ok, some of mine might be a close second  but really, you might present your case to us out of the New Testament, since we are in that era now-at least until it becomes clearer that children need the Law "laid down," and that parents get no joy from this. Grace-after all-is prolly the only reason you can still post here!
