I forgot to mention that Mark Yandris introduced me to Freddy Clark. A name I have heard for many years and whose very talented sons I have seen perform here in Nashville.

"We did not wear uniforms. The lady workers dressed in the current fashions of the day, ...silks...satins...jewels or whatever they happened to possess. They were very smartly turned out, so that they made an impressive appearance on the streets where a large part of our work was conducted in the early years.
"It was not until long after, when former Holiness preachers had become part of us, that strict plainness of dress began to be taught.
"Although Entire Sanctification was preached at the beginning of the Movement, it was from a Wesleyan viewpoint, and had in it very little of the later Holiness Movement characteristics. Nothing was ever said about apparel, for everyone was so taken up with the Lord that mode of dress seemingly never occurred to any of us."

I've been to Freddy's home in Canada. Great family.

I was a little disappointed no prophetic word from him.

FC called me by my name the first time I met him without being introduced.

One of the GREAT Allen Oggs stoies...
Brother Oggs was in an elevator and Bro. Clark stepped into it.
Brother Oggs turns to him and says in that very distict voice:
Freddy Clark! Brother Freddy Clark!
Brother Clark says: "Brother it seems you know me, but I don't know you what is your name?"
Brother Oggs then says 'Oh NO! YOU tell ME what my name is!"

I shocked that nary a person has shared any of the news from Gen Conf.
nobody even cares that North Texas has split off from East Texas to form a new district?
I was told that and was very surprised. Why do they want these teeny tiny districts???
BTW your story about Bro. Oggs and FC in the elevator was funny.
