God is not the author of confusion. No thanks.

"We did not wear uniforms. The lady workers dressed in the current fashions of the day, ...silks...satins...jewels or whatever they happened to possess. They were very smartly turned out, so that they made an impressive appearance on the streets where a large part of our work was conducted in the early years.

"It was not until long after, when former Holiness preachers had become part of us, that strict plainness of dress began to be taught.

"Although Entire Sanctification was preached at the beginning of the Movement, it was from a Wesleyan viewpoint, and had in it very little of the later Holiness Movement characteristics. Nothing was ever said about apparel, for everyone was so taken up with the Lord that mode of dress seemingly never occurred to any of us."

I don't think he means for everyone to do all of those things at the same time.

anyone taking shots at you over this is likely the one that got hit by the article.

LOL

I gotta say our church aint like this. That is because our pastor is more concerned about worship than professionalism. and our Music Director is vastly more interested in prayer than practice.... although practice is very high on the list.

Now this is funny! My big gripe with the vast majority of modern praise and worship songs is that they try to cram way too many lyrics into a song and that most songs have very little melody.

Apples and oranges.
Mennonites are also basically a culture.
Very, very few convert.
And those that do either come from another Mennonite group or the Amish.
Not many new converts in those groups.
