With all we could do and repairs made and a new floor put in they still have few of this worlds goods...not even a kitchen table!

and that my friend is the total of their earthly possessions.
They are bringing water in from the hospital to drink as it is a drought in that part of Brazil.
We have almost bleed to help them have these few things...yet they are excited and "things" does not matter. They are sold out to God and to His purpose.
Mission conferences in so many paces are declining in number. Schools are not emphasizing missions. Pastors have become more materialistic have tended toward seeing missionaries as taking funds away from the church when the funds should be going to the home front.
The GO YE gene is missing in today´s church as a whole.

Just not to many are planning Brother Matthew to leave the conforts of America and come as a real missionary to the foreign field.

Real missionaries have inherited an impulse and a practice that dates from first-century Christian communities. They work, live and become a part of the people. They are not on the field for any other reason except a divine calling of God...
