BOOM, I guess you don't have any problems signing it, you have to have someone to preach to first...

Who is guilty of that here, the TV group or the Booker-Tulsa group?

For all intents and purposes the AS statement has outlived its usefullness and really it was successful getting out all the greasy gracers.

I suppose now the shoe is on the other foot, and I am sure Booker will draft a resolution of some sort that ministers will have to sign that they won't watch or allow their members to watch football on TV.
that is to bad, football is good, dt

I know this will be viewed is overtly disrespectful, but if that actually happened, and I were a licensed minister in the UPCI, I would show up to the business meeting wearing a Tony Romo Dallas Cowboys Jersey.

The AS is just worthless piece of paper. People sign it and don't live it and nothing is done. It was a good idea if only it had been enforced.

the Babe, Mickey, Joe D.

My former DS told me the following:

Headquarters will not accept an affirmation statement that partially cancels one of these sections. A few ministers have written that they are opposed to the need to sign a statement, or other things to that effect, but if they do sign the statement without qualification in what it affirms, then their statement is accepted.
