What about the ark in Revelation 11:19? I've always wondered if that was the actual ark of the covenant.

You're not serious, are you? You know none of us believe God lies. What we do have to be careful of though is the things He has revealed to us in visions or symbols need to be taken the way He revealed them and intended for us to take them. Signified and visions are not always to be taken literally. Many visions are recorded in the scriptures that needed an interpretation as the literalness of the vision was not to be taken literally but what the vision represented. It is not a foreign concept in the scriptures, and it is all the more evident in the book of Revelation.

I do not agree with your false narrative and straw man argument. This is why you lose people, Sean. I truly believe you are a good brother with good insights. But you speak of lies when you yourself spin things people say, which is a form of deception.

I think some of you actually think eternity and heaven is going to look and be exactly like what you see on earth. We have been trained this way by our mentors.

But this "glimpse" of the things seen in heaven, cannot be brought down to our human reasoning always.

Once in a while, we must simply realize that the Lord has the power to change in appearance as we see in scripture.

Rev 1:13 And in the midst of the seven candlesticks one like unto the Son of man, clothed with a garment down to the foot, and girt about the paps with a golden girdle.

14 His head and his hairs were white like wool, as white as snow; and his eyes were as a flame of fire;

15 And his feet like unto fine brass, as if they burned in a furnace; and his voice as the sound of many waters.

Rev 5:6 And I beheld, and, lo, in the midst of the throne and of the four beasts, and in the midst of the elders, stood a Lamb as it had been slain, having seven horns and seven eyes, which are the seven Spirits of God sent forth into all the earth


The "carnal" man cannot fathom this, so they must invent concepts to rationalize the so called, "bizarre" visions of heaven as see by John.

John would be the first one to admit what he saw was real....why cant we?
