he was an orphan with his eyes not even opened when we got him. i bottle fed him like a baby every 4 hours. he was my buddy.
recently he started loosing his hair and peeing in the wrong places. we sent him to Louisiana where the vets are cheeper and confirmed his sickness was not recoverable without spending more money than I am willing to spend. Thus he was uthinized by the vet.
back in the day, I would have just taken him out behind the barn and dealt with it, but I live in Dallas now and i dont have a barn and they frown on gun shots in the city.
As my Great grandpappy would say, they made a good cat outta him.

my cat and Namesake Ferdinand has either passed or will pass shortly. He is sick and i dont have the will to spend the money to get him healty.
he made the treck to louisiana where my FIL will take him to a vet to be put to sleep.
Its sad. he was 13. I bottle fed him as a kitten.
