I have always maintained that the coming of the Lord in AD70 was NOT the second coming. You never knew that in all the times I said it to you? That is the whole point of partial preterism. The second coming is future.

Yes, that is a coming as well. But that's not the second coming, is it? That is exactly what I have been trying to tell you for months now. AD70 was A COMING, but not the 2nd coming.

Full preterists do, BUT NOT PARTIAL preterists. I am partial preterist.

Re: Some standing here
Partial preterism:
Matthew 24 is NOT the second coming. It's AD70 coming of destruction.
1 Thess 4 and 1 Cor 15 ARE the second coming. They are NOT AD70 coming of destruction.
Matthew 24 is not about 1 Thess 4 or 1 Cor 15.
Rev 1:7 is also NOT the second coming, but AD70 coming in destruction.
But I fully believe in the future second coming.
I actually told you that many times, Sean. I cannot understand why you never noticed that. Most everyone here knows partial preterists believe in the future second coming of Jesus.

Oh, I knew that...30 plus year difference between partial and full, right?.
1 Thess 4 and 1 Cor 15 ARE the second coming. They are NOT AD70 coming of destruction.
Okay, thanks for clarifying.
Matthew 24 is not about 1 Thess 4 or 1 Cor 15.

Okay, you are just proposing multiple comings. I also believe in that.
Jesus came to me personally in 1978.(I sure was not going to him in those days...LOL)

Amen. That is all I have been trying to say ever since I spoke to you. I'm glad you finally told me you missed my point.
There is a coming in Matthew 24, but I am saying that is not the second coming. The second coming is in 1 Cor 15, John 5, and 1 Thess 4, and other places.
The second coming is a SPECIAL COMING distinct from all the others. It is THE GREAT coming. That never happened in AD70.

So, you do not believe the 2nd coming happened in 70ad?
Then if not, when did it happen, according to you or partial preterism?
