You know - I like DB too. I don't think HE takes himself as seriously as others do. He has always been kind to me. I just disagree on his Theology.
I think it is highly dangerous to allow one, two, three or a small group of men to define your entire belief system.
It has been said by many and alluded to on this forum. The UPC and the present "Apostolic" movement is an evolving movement. As much as you want to prove that WE HAVE NOT CHANGED - You have!

You have changed since 1914. You have changed since 1945. You have changed since the 60's and you have changed since 2006! We all change. When I hear these men get up and say - I HAVE NOT CHANGED - I laugh! It is simply NOT TRUE! You can say it over and over again and try to make yourself believe it - but we all know - YOU HAVE CHANGED!
We all change.
Some used to preach against the Radio - I heard someone - Phil White or Larry Booker or one of those PSR guys preach against RADIO at a PSR conf.
Some used to preach again wearing your hair down - now they let their grand children wear their hair down.
Some preached again blush - now their teens use it.
Some preached again MIXED bathing - until they took their teens to the beach.
Some preached against TV - till they got in the hotel.
Some preached against colored shirts and wearing red - now they wear it.

Can YOU think of something that you used to PREACH AGAINST and now you allow it? Can you think of anything that you saw as SIN and had it as a standard and now - it it not? You have Changed!
I heard Bishop Tenney preach once at BOTT - On the GRANDFATHER CLAUSE!
We ALL change and sometimes - Change is good!

I HAVE CHANGED and I am GLAD ABOUT IT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

How does the Bible define "Apostolic". Just in those terms?

Most people have not been told over and over and over again that if they are not baptized in thus and such precise way, they are going to hell. Most are just baptized in faith believing and wanting to express that faith.

Some teach that YOU are not Apostolic
if your don't make your women wear head coverings.
If you don't baptize in running water.
If you don't have church on Saturday.
If you wear colored shirts or colored underwear
If you don't submit to them.
1,000,000,000 other things!
Again - WHO ARE YOU to say who is Apostolic and who is not?

but I do think you are more Apostolic than Daniel.

Answer me this: What are we reaching people with if they have ministry but not accurate doctrine?

It is merely a social gospel that will gain no one entrance to Beulah land. It doesn't matter how many hungry bellies we feed or how many backs we clothe if we have not gained access to the Father through the Lord Jesus Christ. Neither does it matter if you know doctrine forward and backward if you don't feed Him when He is hungry.

I teach living a life of holiness and separation from the world.

WHY CAN"T YOU ALL GET IT - that everybody that leaves you don't go to the dogs and throw away all the doctrine they have!!!!!!!!!!!!
Here - Doctrine is the foundation - Ministry is the walls and the roof.
I know that may be WAY too deep for some to comprehend!

There are some on here that only believes in THEIR VERSION of Apostolic and if you are NOT WITH THEM - You don't believe Fat meat is GREASY!!!!!!

AB, I think a lot of people on here just like to get you worked up... Can you imagine if your friend and mine JK in DC were to start talking on here? I think he may be banned with his forst response to some....
