We three were wine guys and he was juice. I will say this he had no reverse in his car.

Sorry, I've kinda been all over the place. Tarah had such a respect for Christian and his privacy that even though he claimed (at the beginning of their break-up) that it was because of infidelity on her part, she would not set the record straight. She refused to put her hand to it. She always said that someday, when he was ready he would tell the story. Well, he has and she has recently began to call old friends from the evangelistic field to defend herself. She has been so focused on survival for her and the kids that she has not had much time to think about the outside world. And remember, she had a baby during all this time and tried for a small amount of time before he came out as gay to reconcile for the kids sake. As far as this particular forum, she knows that people are curious and people talk. When you are in the limelight like he was there is bound to be questions and a backlash. She doesn't begrudge your curiosity. And I have her permission to even be on here. She doesn't own a computer, he took that of course. She does appreciate all of your sincere concern for all of us and thanks you for your prayers. She is a powerful, praying, strong in her faith young lady. I could not be more pleased with how she has handled this situation.

I recently heard an ex-UPC guy preach this that most of you would know if I called his name. (BUT I won't!!).

sherri, I really feel you should tell us who this is to warn others.
afterall if he preached it in public is it really a big secret ?

Well, I'm about to go to bed, but I'll just say:
Thank you, bcarolb, for sharing with us. It certainly wasn't your obligation. My mother and I had talked a bit about CG awhile back, just wondering where he is, what he's doing...with no real idea of anything truly awful going on. I am truly heartbroken, because I believe he had great potential, and I will definitely keep Tarrah and their children in my prayers.
I did remember one other thing...CG preached for the church in LA, where we attended for awhile...it was an extended sort of revival, a couple of weeks I think, and the last night he was there, I suppose he had had enough of local rhetoric, and he started preaching about prejudice, and how you couldn't be a true Christian if you thought ill of your neighbour, black or white. Man, you could've heard a pin drop in that place, it was quiet, and cold as ice. I was really proud of him that night, though, because it needed to be said.
Anyway. God bless you! Good night all.

btw, someone had posted in first few pages of this (thread?) that my husband and I were radical, foaming at the mouth, conseratives and I want to let you all know...we are not now nor have we ever been that. When we evangelized years ago, we preached for cons, to liberals. We have many friends all across this country but we are just pretty much ole boring middle of the road. On the doctrine we are staunch!! But as far as I know and can remember we have never foamed at the mouth. LOL
