Oklahoma has a law like this one. I think it was passed in 2006. I don't think it requires parental permission, but it requires clinics to notify a parent at least 48 hours prior to the scheduled abortion.
Here's a quote regarding the OK law:
"...The notification measure also allows women considering an abortion to see an ultrasound photo of their baby beforehand.

As I'm sure your church has been - we have been having 24 hour prayer and fasting for the past week regarding this. I am believing that God will hear us on this! In Jesus Name! There is so much at stake with Prop 8!!!

Obama wins, Lord have mercy on us!!! As of now Prop 8 is winning, thank the good Lord 55%-Yes and 45% No. As far as Prop 4 it is 50%-50%. Keeping an eye on those to props.

Keith,
From an 'emergent' perspective, do you think this means that the US is now a liberal, post-modern country? Post Christian? Gergen on CNN is calling it a 'liberal cabal'. Is this just a political shift or evidence of a cultural shift?

But I think McCain fought a good fight, what a gracious concession speech he gave.
