I've been praying for Jon. How is he today? Do y'all need anything?
LOL! And I have one who's just as stubborn. He was talking today about wanting to go back up the ladder just to "prove" that he could. I think he's a little insane!!

We're home. He's in the bed at the moment, sleeping under the influence of meds. He's in ALOT of pain, so it may be a long few days....

I'm sorry I missed this. I got in and have been on the phone as well as posting.

I know where you are. I've been there. The only thing I can say is that prayer works to keep you calm. There is nothing else you can do. LOL!

Someone told me to read Dr. Dobson's, Strong Willed Child. When I got to the part that said we would probably get along when the child was 24, I closed the book. That's all I needed to know. And it's true!!!! LOL

Praying for you! You won't be able to go around this one. We will pray you get through it. Just don't try to make her be or think like you. That's one thing I learned. I had to allow her to be her own person.

24??? God, grant me patience - and I need it right now! I can't wait till he's 24!

Let's not ask for patience though, patience comes through tribulation.

Re: Gabby's

I honestly don't know which is more stressful.... trying to homeschool a 5th grader and make him realize the importance of learning these math concepts--or trying to understand the reasoning of a 20 year old college student who knows it all!

Oh... and one more thing... Tomorrow's agenda includes taking my hubby for a morning dental appt. Anyone want to trade places for a couple of days?
