At least four of the finalists are very devout Christians. I think it's time one of them wins and lets their light shine before the entertainment world!
It's the only TV show I watch on a regular basis. Pretty entertaining. The only other thing I may watch are reruns of sitcoms, and that's rare. I'm much more likely to be on here or reading books.

Oh, that's awesome. Which gospel song lifitng up Christ did they sing so their light could shine? Or was it the way they dressed that made them come across as devout Christians? Or perhaps the few moments they got to speak they were able to testify?
Serious question: Had it not been made known that they were devout Christians, how would you have known?

That all will come on KC & The Sunshine Band night when they sing "Shake Your Booty" and "That The Way I like It"

Well, for one thing, the women dress decently and aren't out there flaunting their sexuality to win. They didn't sing gospel songs, because I'm sure Simon would automatically disqualify them, because he is against anything like that coming across in the competition. But why would it be wrong for a Christian to win and then be an example in the music field? That area of entertainment definitely needs some Christian influence.

Despite my morbid curiosity with the show's contestants and their talent (or lack thereof), I still maintain that a secular stage is no place for a Christian singer or musician.
How is it witnessing if you aren't singing about the Gospel? That's like saying that talking to your neighbour about football is witnessing. Nah, you might be making a friend, which could lead to later evangelism, but talking about football isn't sharing the Gospel. Not in my opinion, inny waze.
Coming from the perspective of a singer/musician, I always want to just ask, "Why?"

Yup. They only did two per night back when there were many more contestents. It will be just one per week until they have a winner now.

Yup and the wed show is only 30 minutes long unless they lengthen it some weeks for special stuff like next month when they are going to try and pick everybody's pocket for the poor in Africa and in America.
