I agree with the modesty/dress requirements I adhere to, but don't think they alone qualify someone as being holy. Holiness starts inward and will eventually affect the outward. Just my $.02 although, after having read this thread finally in it's entirety, I see the discussion has pretty much ran its course

You know Brother what I find the most amazing? I came out of the world and into an Apostolic Church. A Man called by God and anointed to preach the word that convicted my heart and helped me to be saved.
Now I come onto these Apostolic Forums, and to my amazement find out from ordinary people that my pastor has been preaching things that is not Biblical sound. And they are convincing more and more of us that certain things preached to us is no longer important or necessary. And I see here that lots of people are believing this to be true.

Yes, you are right about where it starts... But I really find these threads amusing....

It's funny, you can be anyone you want to be on the forum world. For example, I know someone on here but they don't know that I know them and they don't know who I am.......and from what they've posted and what people think about them is unlike how I knew them. llolololol! so, I don't put a whole lot of stock into what people say.

I agree with the standards that I adhere to also, but I have seem some pretty holy women who have a very nasty attitude... Goes for both sides though... con or lib....

Then did the Word convict you or not? If the Word of God, preached by an ANOINTED man of God , convicted you, then why would it now be "not biblically sound"?

Thad has been making lists over the course of 3 forums now - this being the 3rd. He has some kind of compulsion to make them that none of us quite understand. Nobody takes them seriously. Or shouldn't anyhow.

And I was on the Liberal list on FCF, by the time NFCF rolled around, I had moved over to the Conservative list. Now here at AFF, I am back over on the Liberal side.

Sister, I did not say my pastors teachings are not Biblical sound, I said ordinary people on this Forum were telling us that if our Pastor teaches standards He is not teaching truth. I believe it all works together. Please re-read my prior post.
