Now that is not the real reason. You admitted the real reason elsewhere once on a forum. It is because you do not want to stand out in your fellowship. Nothing biblical, just afraid of going against a funny status quo.

WOW.

Again pure and total assumption. You cannot prove they did not carry tweezers.

So you ARE saying that a man who grows a beard [in your church] will NOT go to heaven...?

No sir I have NOT said that what I said is that Pentecost made a decision in the 60's and I think it was correct.

They will NOT be a member in this church with a beard that is a mute question. NO beards here on members.

Seriously, I have looked into this and there is a lot of scripture that can weigh either way. I feel that it is a matter of preference.
Many do believe that if a man is wearing facial hair then he is hiding something. For some, it is just plain hiding the ugly underneath.
I used to have a fairly full beard and mustache. I shaved it because I felt like it was the right thing to do. I will continue to do so. But, I do not condemn others who wear it.

Now, that is sensible.
The bottom line is that you can tell some folks that worship of a volkswagen will save them, and somebody will do it. The silly notion of beards being wrong is one of those nutty things that stuck for some reason. And there will always be people who defend that ruling since they are sheep.
Disagree with a beard, but do not say it is God-willed to not wear one.

You may have said that, but I distinctly read where you ALSO said you did not want to stand out in your fellowship since no body else wore one.

Can a person attend your church regularly without being a "member?"

Well, I believe this decision was born out of the hippie movement. Growing a beard was a sign of protest against the current trend of society. Those in the church of that day IMO did not want to be associated with that kind of thing. I believe that they made the right decision for the day.
In current events, I am not so sure about this. I don't see it as a protest so much as a fashion.
I do believe that when it becomes a matter of pride (it did with me), then it is not something that an individual should wear. But, I know that not everyone wears it for pride's sake.
