Surely you don't really believe what you just posted to be a true depiction of factual evidence that legal tender Federal Reserve Notes are contraband?
Anyway... the extremes you are going to on this particular attempt brings even a person with a one dollar bill in their back pocket into suspicion.
This isn't about amounts. You are saying... full out... that cash... good ole American fiat cash... is contraband... period.
I sure hope you can catch a ride back from these stretches you are making.

Blasphemy. They have the nerve to Print In God we Trust on contraband.

No.
And apparently even if security or police feel that something's suspecious the right wing of this country doesn't want them to ask any questions.

Okay, then if you say, no, that it is not illegal to carry the cash even being a suspected drug dealer - then - they had no right to question him.
So, Digging and Ferd are right.

What a ludicrous statement.

These are classic symptoms for stress disorders. They are looking for militias in every suitcase. It explains the Missouri memo. Then they crack and go postal on people when they snap.

I know what will make some folks happy... let's just git rid of all this security stuff or at least forbid agents from asking questions unless they catch someone trying to sneak an AK-47 past security.

They are correct. Cash is not the crime. It is the dope. But this is about TSA and weapons and not about international customs or drug enforcement.

I know. How dare they even think he could have been a drug dealer. Small town drug dealers need to take notes too. LOL

It's about what they can detain and question you for.

My point is that carrying cash isn't illegal. It's not contraband. However, "suspecion" warrants asking some questions. And a degree of that will be in the eye of the beholder. I'd find it strange because I don't know anyone who'd travel with that kind of cash. I see nothing wrong with them asking a few questions. When he got elusive, then his behavior became additional grounds for suspecion. That's all I'm saying.
