Hey guys... I know this has been up here so long no one is probably seeing it but just in case... please say a prayer for me for the evening or so.. this is proving to be no fun at all! I went and had a facet block injection today... basically just a pain injection... thing is its normally done under sedation and with lidocane...well they were unable to get a vein to start the iv as I was pretty much totally dehydrated because of the amount of pain I have been in the last few days my dr knew this was going to happen... so he did this without sedation. He went in with the xray to make sure he had the right place and I could feel those stupid scopes going all over my back and I wanted to scream then the injection... he did give me a mild shot to numb some of it but not near as much as we had hoped... so sitting standing moving all hurt bad!!! I also am not supposed to drive but my dad had to run me home and leave immediately to head to Ok to my great aunts funeral which is in the morning but he has to oversee the estate and they needed him there now! Robs at work so I am fixing to venture out to get my kids from school! So please pray as I wrap the lovely ice pack around me and head off to the wild blue yonder! Thanks so much!
arrived home from running to get kids and am fixing to fall back into bed... this is a night to do absolutely NOTHING! I do have to say my back.. the part that was hurting feels 75% better already!!! The pain right now is from the injection and from the fact that I felt everything your not supposed to feel! He said he hasnt done one of these like this in years!!! But he called a few min ago to check in and we have decided all of mine will be done like this just to save from the poking and prodding of the nurses which was soooooo frustrating!!! Love yall and post later at ya (if I can stay awake!)
