what's wrong with us

We prayed and held hands when out to eat with my In-laws.

We had several groups, families and couples stop by our table and told us they appreciated our respect.

The waitress was very respectful as we said our prayer.

She closed her eyes along with us.

For that I left her a $20.00 tip....

My husband and I pray before we eat and we always hold hands. We have done this since the day we married. Then when the Children came along and now the grandchildren it's still some thing we do.

Why not? I mean, that's your perrogative, but it's not a nasty thing, unless we make it to be.

I heard some prayers over food where it seemed they were trying to start a revival!

I remember going out to eat with a singing group, and my dad asked the leader to ask the blessing. I was about 10 years old.

I was half done with my cheeseburger and fries before he finished his prayer!

We do say grace and if we forget our 4 yr. old grandson reminds us. My husband also prays when he plants our garden.

ROFL!

There was a guy in my youth group who didn't believe in praying over the food.

Instead, he prayed it through!!

LOL..You're right....When we get with someone who has never heard those terms it can be quite interesting to watch their reaction...It's always good to have a sense of humor... even about praying over your chips!!!!!
