I absolutely love potato salad! My husband hates it so I never make it, not in 13 years of marriage.
At least your husband eats it.

I don't like all potato salads either...I've always made it like my mom does.
No onions or celery, but with pickles and olives instead.

I like all that stuff yummy! (except for boiled eggs, dont care for those in it)
Ok I have a serious question to ask you-do you use Best Foods Mayonnaise
or Miracle Whip?
I think that makes a big difference in a good salad or not.

Real Mayo.
And I use hard-boiled eggs in the salad too.

Ah! A thread I can post to with great joy!
I am staring at a lovely Turkey and swiss footlong sandwich with the works (especially japalenos) from subway!
oh thank you God!!!
That whole $5 footlong thing they got going has totally seduced me and I will need to do much praying and repenting on the treadmill for a few days now,...

I make it all the time in the summer it seems. My favorite way to make it is with diced red skinned potatoes, celery, onions, and a lot of eggs.
The dressing: Miracle Whip, Ranch dressing, sour cream, a drop of vinegar, and a dash of sugar.
Mix in the dressing and add sweet relish. Top with sliced eggs and paprika...
