Noah, looked out the side of the boat and he saw a bunch of "Canoesmatics" rowing beside the Ark!
I am sorry, I couldn't hel myself!
Uh, Oh, gotta run.
The "canoesmatics" used a new invention call a "boat motor", to get them where they wanted more quickly and more efficiently! Noah and crew didn't want anything worldly attached to the ark!

MOW has stated that he believes that all Christians that put their faith in Christ are saved. They never have to come to an Acts experience. In fact he has stated clearly that it was his contact with wonderful non-Apostolic Christians that led him to this belief and out of the UPCI. (I suspect at great personal loss).
I know that MOW teaches and preaches the Acts message and people come to the Lord and find that experience in his church. I do not want to belittle him in any way.
I do think that when MOW or anyone who professes the above belief system, on an Apostolic message board, they are going to be subject to some critical examination. I also suspect that MOW fully expected as much.
For those that see anyone disagreeing with him as being critical or judgmental, I would suggest that you have found yourself critiquing conservative pastors with no small amount of judgment.
Instead of getting upset with Pastor Epley over this, how about debate the issue?
When I said, “even folk who think everyone is saved can find something to call heresy”, I believe while a meant to be over the top, fits with the subject and the author of this thread.
But peace to you all anyway….

If MOW sees this as a personal attack let him say so I will apologize I am attacking what he has written NOT him personally. But he started the thread expecting this and I would NOT want him disappointed.
I believe that anything that is assigned a soteriological significance (a MUST for salvation) that God's word does not clearly and specifically state so, is a HERETICAL doctrine and could be therefore worthy of damnation.
I think it is fine to declare to people that certain things may be damaging to their relationship with the Lord.
But to state that because the pastor declares something that should either be done or refrained from, and then declare that because someone in their church doesn't follow the pastor's directive, and is therefore disobedient, and therfore rebellious, and therefore in witchcraft, and therefore headed to STRAIGHT to hell, is nothing short of popery.
There is nothing greater on this earth than the salvation God Himself purchased with His own blood!!! To MESS with that, IMO, is to take the role of God Himself upon oneself.
I think that is dangerous territory to tread upon. Call me liberal. Call me a compromiser. Call me loosey goosey or whatever it is you want to call me, but I ain't messin' with salvation.
Happy Easter!!!!
One man's heresy is another man's golden rule...

Brother Epley, in your history of posting, I have never seen you insult anyone personally...except me, but in that case, it was probably called for.
