I really wouldn't quibble about #7, if it just said: All women wear their hair up. At least that accomplishes uniformity. But to make it for the purpose of hiding cut hair just seems wrong to me.
Almost like it's a little filter for those who DO CURRENTLY cut their hair, e.g., "Attention: Hide your cut hair! Thanks, the Management."

I think that is what a lot of women do already. They curl the bottom so nobody knows
__________________ Let it be understood that Apostolic Friends Forum is an Apostolic Forum.
Apostolic is defined on AFF as:
There is One God. This one God reveals Himself distinctly as Father, Son and Holy Ghost.
The Son is God himself in a human form or "God manifested in the flesh" (1Tim 3:16)
Every sinner must repent of their sins.
That Jesus name baptism is the only biblical mode of water baptism.
That the Holy Ghost is for today and is received by faith with the initial evidence of speaking in tongues.
The saint will go on to strive to live a holy life, pleasing to God.
But, that's usually not "short" hair just trimmed hair.
And, if your hair is truly short, and not just trimmed, how can you make it appear uncut?
One of the ladies in our district lost all her hair due to breast cancer one year, and when it came time for Youth Congress, she had just about an inch or less--did she plop on a wig? Nope. She spiked her very short hair and off she went. And kudos to her for not playing a stupid game.

Sadly, she was looked at as a first-time visitor or recently saved.
I spiked my hair when it started growing in too. The only thing I didn't like was the worldly folks thinking I was a lesbian! LOL!

Really, the only people ever fooled are the men. Women can spot cut or trimmed hair a mile away. Curled or not.
Same goes for even the smallest amount of makeup.
Well, women, and Lee Stoneking, apparently.
