You really need all corners covered; you need the doubters, the believers, the conservatives, the liberals, the pompous, the mice, the dumb ones, the smarties, the shallow, and the deep.
Debates on the FCF were not always respectful, and they were RARELY politically correct. Remember the Blue Denim Whales thread? Talk about getting hot under the collar--that one got on my last nerve! But did it get shut down? No. Were people allowed to say what they really thought? Yes!!!
Maybe Thad's Tab should be brought back. Maybe less censoring of things that interest Apostolics is in order, and save the censorship for the really bad stuff, like people who just want to push the gay agenda, or mock Christians for their convictions. It all depends on your end goal: Do you want an Apostolic forum or not?
Maybe some previously banned members should be invited back....
Maybe....
I have work to do! This is very distracting. Thanks a LOT EA.

I have to believe that back in the day of FCF people were just getting their feet wet questioning and speaking up.
This many years down the road has enpowered more to speak their mind and we just have a lot more outspoken people than we did back then (the negative ones).
Does that make sense?

We also have more people with no sense of mutual respect posting.

"We did not wear uniforms. The lady workers dressed in the current fashions of the day, ...silks...satins...jewels or whatever they happened to possess. They were very smartly turned out, so that they made an impressive appearance on the streets where a large part of our work was conducted in the early years.
"It was not until long after, when former Holiness preachers had become part of us, that strict plainness of dress began to be taught.
"Although Entire Sanctification was preached at the beginning of the Movement, it was from a Wesleyan viewpoint, and had in it very little of the later Holiness Movement characteristics. Nothing was ever said about apparel, for everyone was so taken up with the Lord that mode of dress seemingly never occurred to any of us."

And I, as well, agree! We should sing a chorus of "R-E-S-P-E-C-T".

The difference was every tribe and family of the Apostolic movement was present we fought like cats and dogs about nearly every issue however everyone on there claimed to be Apostolic. At time others were allowed for a season like the Branhamites but was heavily monitored. This again is not meant to insult the Admns or owners. Just the facts of the case. This seems more like an anti than a Apostolic forum of any shade.

Or perhaps Apostolic has been defined so finely that few meet the criteria.

Re: Dear Admin and Owner
It should be the least among us...the ones with the least posts. I nominate all of the newbies who start a welcome thread and then never post.
1 Cor 6:4 If then ye have judgments of things pertaining to this life, set them to judge who are least esteemed in the church.

4. Ban everyone who rejects the baptism of the Holy Ghost, evidenced by tongue-talking, as a normative experience.
5. Ban everyone who rejects baptism in the name of Jesus as a scriptural norm.
5. Create a Pentecostal History section.
6. Change the name of the forum.
7. Create new admins that are interested and active to replace any who are too busy elsewhere. Make sure they are truly Pentecostal.
8. Get rid of the political crud off of your "new posts" section.
9. Create a section that is "links only" that lead to every Pentecostal organization's major periodical.
10. Bring back Pastor Poster.

Good ideas, Edward!
Way to go.
Love it!
