Friends...the thing about life is we had better be kind to everyone possible YOU NEVER know who your real friend is until the love test comes along...That does NOT mean we have to ok sin and pet people but we must be kind.
I have people that walk all over me because I try to be kind however when I have needed kindness during hard difficult times God has always sent me someone that was kind...
1 Cor 13 MUST be our rule for living because we will need it when we die...

Strange as it may seem some people call me charismatic because of my personality...some have said that I don't believe anything...However I just keep on working ...no use to join their boxing rink....

I don't like to get into people's personal fights...a few times pastor's have said to me...If you go to the church across town don't come over here...sad most people do not know who their real enemy is...some have said, Sister Alvear, you can come but don't bring the black kids with you...lots of things happen in life where we could grow bitter...but bitterness only destroys where it is...not the person that caused us to become bitter...
We went through a horrible trial but we stayed sweet about it and most of the people came and told us they were sorry...Many times if we are Not careful in the heat of the battle we do more harm than good.

That is why people get off on some kind of rage...it works like road rage...

Paul could have been hard and bitter but he cose the high road...I know many on this forum have been hurt however friends...choose the high road....

I think these two are the real test of friendship.

• someone who will be there no matter what your situation is

• someone who will stick around when things get rough

It's hard to be a real friend when it cost us time and money.

yes, it is present in many places however it is slowly dying out...thank the Lord...when our children were small it was very present...especially in the south.

I feel sorry for evengelists that are alway traveling and preaching at different churches...you never know what the next one believes...so many evangelist's wives have talked with me over the years how the have offended people without even knowing it.

One thing about it I alway think about Ps. 119:165 and try to walk on doing the work of Christ.

I Corinthians 13:5, "Love ... does not act unbecomingly; it does not seek its own, is not provoked, does not take into account a wrong suffered."
Love does not keep a record of offenses but releases them.

Reminded my granddaughter, just last night, that you need to treat people the way you would like to be treated. You might just see a change in their attitude towards you by practicing that simple biblical principal. Sometimes, we all need to be reminded of that.
