Both have the same potential for evil. Only 1 plays sin just by turning it on. You have to search for it on internet.
I preach against the entertainment of Hollywood in any form you find it.

I have yet to push the power button on my television and have "instantly Hollywood or smut start playing its entertainment." I have even blocked out channels and programs for what some folks might call "spite" just because the actor or someone associated with the show said or did something I thought was stupid. That's just me. I see the title - *Click! Ban!* Maybe such stats filter up. I don't know.
Meanwhile, my television is just another node on the Internet. It even has its own IP address. My oldest son in the service plays video games live from the base where he's stationed, interacting with my youngest son in real time. I can pick up a headset and talk with my son, his long suffering roommate, other Army buddies and everyone else. My nephew serving on another continent even joins in. Even when the Xbox is removed, the TV set up screen still has an IP address.
BTW, what is "Hollywood?" I guess you approve of the various "Doctor Who" television series because they are "London" and not "Hollywood." I don't really disapprove, I just find the series to be boring. My daughter has been watching a television series on her laptop lately (older reruns). This show was filmed and produced in "Vancouver." She doesn't even engage the television to watch it. I guess you're okay with that.
It is nice to hear from you.

Re: I affirm to not speak against other ...
i call it hollywood because its where the film industry started and is based.
nothing on tv should be in a christian home. even so called christian channels that preach false doctrine.
So its just news... even they dress immodestly & use words that are not clean at times. And you can't filter commercials.
There is no reason anyone Holy Ghost filled would need or have a reason to own one.
Yes i know we better not go to malls or resteraunts... blah blah blah..
I can't help living in this world, but I don't bring those people home to entertain me while I eat popcorn.
Those who do the sin are going to hell, and those who take pleasure in those who do it. I don't take pleasure in the sin on tv.

Yep, don't watch TV, but gossip about your parishioners on internet forums. And this is NOT TIC. But of course, you can see someone's heart, being how somehow you think you're God.

NB's a good kid. I think. I don't really know him personally. It's just through the conversations that we've had across the medium that has become the biggest purveyor of smut and porn in the history of the world.

My post was not just in answer to MrNBC, but to all those that think they know who is going to hell. Our time would be much better spent telling people how to get saved instead of condemning them to hell.
I am so thankful I know great men and women of God that are humble and loving, and do not pass judgment on others. But desire to see souls saved.

mmbcox,
I just wanted to tell you that I am glad you are here to represent the old time Oneness Pentecostal viewpoint.

"We did not wear uniforms. The lady workers dressed in the current fashions of the day, ...silks...satins...jewels or whatever they happened to possess. They were very smartly turned out, so that they made an impressive appearance on the streets where a large part of our work was conducted in the early years.
"It was not until long after, when former Holiness preachers had become part of us, that strict plainness of dress began to be taught.
"Although Entire Sanctification was preached at the beginning of the Movement, it was from a Wesleyan viewpoint, and had in it very little of the later Holiness Movement characteristics. Nothing was ever said about apparel, for everyone was so taken up with the Lord that mode of dress seemingly never occurred to any of us."

Wouldn't it be better to represent Christ?
