Yeah,
I went to his funeral, (got in trouble there too!)
Wonder if that was God saying to us UC's, (Don't go on a Cruise Ship?)

I believe that if God was really angry at someone going on a cruise ship He would send a mighty rogue wave to tip it over. Of course some would probably take that as His approval, considering the split alter incident.

Re: Princess Cruise
I love, love cruising. But from the first cruise I took almost 10 years ago to now quality has gone way done and so has the price.

The quality went down when they started pooling tips -which means the go getters now carry the slackers (sort of like our current economy!) as well as Carnival buying up most of the major cruise lines.

Re: Princess Cruise
Dislikes:
The crowds. The ship is run extremely efficiently, but there are still huge crowds and lines everywhere because they cannot be avoided when dealing with 3500 passengers.
The short stops. It's frustrating when you stop at an island and told "ok, go and have fun. Quickly! The boat leaves in 6 hours!". Nothing like trying to "relax" while looking at your watch constantly.
The soda card! While coffee, tea and milk was free, soda was not. In fact it cost 30 bucks for a card which gave the card holder unlimited soda, but since it was only free for the card holder only bartenders could refill it lest someone without a card, heaven forbid, would partake. It also took waiters 20+ minutes on average to even get you a coke since even they had to have a bartender fill it -there were no employee only soda fountains where they could get there own.
Alcohol was $$$!!! I know most are thinking "well this doesn't effect ME because I don't DRINK and neither should you!", but the fact is I like sitting at a pool with an adult beverage or having one while eating. The drinks were outrageously priced mainly because the bartenders made them at half strength -I watched and saw they they used 1/2 shots of everything they put in. It was actually pretty insulting.
This is next one is actually a like AND dislike.
The food. While it was very good for the first two days it soon became apparent that everything very much tasted the same by day 3. What started out good became very bland in a hurry which was understandable given the average age of the passengers. Lets just say there was nothing with ANY spice or heat to it. That Dominoes pizza we ate our first evening back was sooooo good!
