Ha, ya, I know, I'm horrible. Believe it or not, I usually don't post for this reason. Timmy, ty for your virtual endorsement, I'm actually more comfortable in that position now.
Please get that I would feel the same if a tornado were bearing down on me--I am just as guilty.
If it makes you feel better, BAM pray for them; just don't kid yourself that God is listening, ok? I got Scripture for that, if you would like to argue it; you don't have even a nub to stand on, unless you follow T in denying the parts of Scripture you are not comfortable with. Who controls the weather? God sent the tornadoes, hello.
I realize that this will not make me any more popular here, and I am genuinely sorry for that; but I also recog that seekers come here looking for truth, and truth is not always pleasant.
I pray that God's will is done in this matter, tho, amen to that.
I'll pray whether or not Byrd thinks God will hear... I know I was doing some of my own praying yesterday as we got the golfball sized hail... I mean I buy ONE brand new car in my whole life and in the first 3 months a drunk driver smashes me $8K worth and as soon as I get it out of the shop it hails rocks... grrrrr!
I am taking my dented Jetta TDI in and trading it for the Touareg I thought I couldn't afford.
That will probably cause tornados in Houston.

If you read 2-3 times you can usually understand what he says but I don't know if this was the right thread for him to post his opinions about whether or not God will answer our prayers during a tornado or not, because of gasoline use, and its effects on global warming. That is a whole 'nother topic of discussion, IMO. I enjoy his posts, because they make me think, but I do not always see eye to eye with him, or anyone else for that matter... LOL
At any rate, I am continuing praying for those people. It could be my family members or friends in the middle of a storm right now, and I pray the Lord's protection on each of them, including our fellow AFF'ers!

Look, I aint calling anyone an idiot, but I do think if a person is giong to be on a forum with other human beings, they ought to type something....ANYTHING that normal folk can actually understand.
