I agree with most of what you said... On a personal note: Are you a licensed minister and are you going to take the stand in your vote of 'Ad Only'? And what percentage of ministers do you think would stand for an 'Ad Only' vote?

Again, if they could convince me that was all I could be tempted.

I really do love Bro. Mooney's preaching. He's in the top 5 of my favorite preachers.

A little point about the enemy being killed with his on weapon because God allowed it, might have been a good point to add though........

Not a licensed minister.

My father and brother are. They're both staunchly for ads, but not for anything else. I'm the moderate/liberal blacksheep of the family. *grin*

To be honest, if I was licensed, I'd be for HQ completely removing the ban (on both ads and broadcasts) to make it an individual church decision. (Since local UPC churches are supposed to be autonomous anyway.)

I don't know what the % of those "for ads but not for anything else" would be.

But you know, it could be that within a couple years of ads being passed that someone puts out a resolution asking for broadcasts also.

The only way to stop a resolution is to vote against it. As many times as it comes up.
