No, in fact in will keep you from having a heart attack.
Lower your carb intake and raise your proteins and your heart will thank you for it. You see we are the opposite and that diet is what brings on heart disease. Which is extremely high carbs and barely any protein. We are cold cereal, bagel, roll, danish with make believe fruit topping which is loaded with white sugar. That will kill you. Just think of how much grains we eat, how much wheat we eat. How much sugar (bleach white) and salt (bleach white) we eat.

Re: Who's Who?
I agree with the no mushroom edict. I can handle raw mushrooms sliced in a salad or a few on a pizza. But nothing cooked
As a young child, when many many recipes used cream of.....soup. My mother dared to add cream of mushroom soup to whatever she was
making. She was distressed that I knew they were in there and found them AND removed all evidence of such .

Hey, childhood food trauma doesn't count.
My stepmother would put soap in her stuffing (she was an alcoholic) , so for the longest time I hated stuffing. But since I broke my childhood food trauma I love stuffing with gravy.

It's amazing how many vegetarians, vegans, and high-fiber fanatics die of early heart attack, stroke, etc...
Meat was made for man... fat and all. A high protein-from-meat (beans don't count), moderate fat, low carb diet is just what humans need to be healthy. All this low fat, low protein, high carb diet produces a generation that is dumb (fat is needed for brain and nervous system), weak (protein is needed for muscle), and fat (carbs are needed primarily for growing belly fat).
But then again, most people no longer raise livestock, so they don't realize the "recommended diet" is exactly what you feed a cow getting her ready for a trip to the kitchen table...

I feel ya. I can't even stand the smell of them cooking. It's nauseating. Hubby loves them.
