If you were planning to vote Democrat, in the first place, of course that would be your assessment.

He is the only person on stage that "instinctively" is capable of intelligent debate. And because he also has honest integrity, it's a plus for him.

Now, having said that, I can't deny that Donald Trump has HUGE crowds. If he wins the nomination, he will get my vote. If Ted Cruz doesn't win, he will be the most powerful Senator in Congress. I can live with either case, knowing that he, alone, changed the trajectory of how the media is going to handle the Republican candidates.

Fox Business treaded carefully last night. Many say they were outstanding Moderators. Well, they had to be.

To listen to her, you feel like you could be sitting across the table from her, having a cup of coffee! It's scary, how convincing she can sound! So I'm kinda worried for whoever ends up taking her on...
She is very smooth, but she can be rattled. I don't believe Carson is capable of debating her. Trump will mow her over with rudeness and get away with it, although she will have some tricks in her bag for him. I also don't believe that Rubio has the skills for it. He is too practiced and could never be ready.

IMO, I believe that Senator Ted Cruz, if you have ever listened to him head a Committee Hearing, is stellar on the questions and steadfast on holding his ground. He could very well rattle her. He looked straight at Trayvon Martin's mother and said, "We are sad that your son died, but this case is not about Stand Your Ground". She was livid and he was right. He has instinctive debate skills and also has honest integrity that won't allow him to pretend like Hillary will. He knows how to pick out the weak points and drive the truth in.

Re: Republican Debate - 11/10/15

Trump evokes Eisenhower.

"Let me just tell you that Dwight Eisenhower, good president, great president, people liked him. 'I like Ike,' right? The expression. 'I like Ike, moved a 1.5 million illegal immigrants out of this country, moved them just beyond the border. They came back. Moved them again beyond the border, they came back. Didn't like it. Moved them way south. They never came back."

The crowd laughs.

Jeb Bush interjects that the Clinton campaign is high-fiving when they hear Trump say that. Clinton's spokesperson Tweeted that they were actually doing high-fives.

Re: Republican Debate - 11/10/15

Asked about his comments on media with double standard. Good answer by Ben Carson.

CARSON: "The fact of the matter is, you know, what -- we should vet all candidates. I have no problem with being vetted. What I do have a problem with is being lied about and then putting that out there as truth.

And I don't even mind that so much, if they do it about -- with everybody, like people on the other side. But, you know, when I look at somebody like Hillary Clinton, who sits there and tells her daughter and a government official that no, this was a terrorist attack, and then tells everybody else that it was a video.

Where I came from, they call that a lie. And I think that's very different from, you know, somebody misinterpreting, when I said that I was offered a scholarship to West Point, that is the words that they used. But, I've had many people come and say the same thing to me.

That is what people do in those situations. We have to start treating people the same, and finding out what people really think and what they're made of. People who know me know that I'm an honest person."

Re: Republican Debate - 11/10/15

Another reason I don't care for Carly Fiorina.

FIORINA:
Well, first Obamacare has to be repealed because it's failing...

YET, she jumped into the criticism when Sen. Ted Cruz took the Senate floor to filibuster what THEY ALL CLAIMED needed to be REPEALED!

Jeb Bush, Rand Paul, Lindsey Graham, John McCain, Chris Christie, Carly Fiorina and others all jumped on the band wagon against Ted Cruz. Now, that right there tells you who these people really are. All talk and no action.

I will hand it to Marco Rubio, who made a "brief" appearance at the filibuster, never criticized Ted Cruz over it.

Po, I firmly believe a republican will win against any democrat this time. Ted
Cruz is the first I've heard that's made me question that conclusion.

Re: Republican Debate - 11/10/15

If Donald Trump, Ted Cruz, or Ben Carson gets the GOP nomination, I will be voting for Hillary Clinton.

The GOP's hope for winning against Hillary Clinton is Marco Rubio.

LOL! Like we didn't think you weren't voting for Hillary anyway. You are quite the character, Jermyn.

He keeps getting endorsements and money, frog. Don't count him out. Fox News will be promoting Rubio over Cruz. Bet on that.

No surprise. You'll vote Democrat regardless, because that's the party you love. Doesn't matter Hillary is a liar who's responsible for the death of an Ambassador and other Americans. Or that she's had a shady past with scandals like the Rose Law firm, Whitewater, Travelgate and the death of Vince Foster.
