I've always wondered about being a mystery shopper/diner. So it really is legit? How do you get hooked up for that?

Sheila used to do that when she lived in Jackson and got to do O'Charleys and some of the places like that. You pay for your meal but then you get reimbursed so it's like getting to eat for free.

Nah, I've read up on it. There are websites that can hook you up. I think you pay an entry fee and then they email you places in your area that you can shop or dine if you're interested.

I've done it, too, places like Chili's, etc. No problems. I even did some Bank of America shops, but they didn't pay much. I did three in one day once, all on the way to see my girlfriend (now wife)...paid for my gas LOL

I meant to add, when I did Chili's, I actually sent a letter to the manager of the restaurant afterwards complimenting him on the service, and he sent me a $10 gift certificate and came to talk to me next time I ate there...of course that meant that I couldn't do any more shops there
