I was wondering if the reason the offering took so long was that they had to wrestle your wallet from you in order for you to give.:sshhh

My strategy is to exit as soon as they call for the ushers. I usually take my daughter with me, but she's not going this year. Therefore, I will probably "walk" alone.

Many others evidently take the same cue, however, so I guess you could say it will be a "group thing."

Make sure you stand up and wave, so we can all exit on cue (and also, so that they can get it on the voodeo screenoloroidoloroidoloroid)

So you are the guy who pinches his poor helpless little kids so they will cry at offering time and you can "takethem out"?

I will start the ball rolling with my predictions;

From the lib wing I would have to say Rex Johnson and Ron Liles

From the ultra con wing I would have to say some of the Western District WAG pastors (whiners agaiinstvideoscreens group)

Oh, and also from the ultra con wing I would say Kansas Preacher, Wholehearted, and a couple of other disgruntled AFF pastor posters who whine about how liberal the UPC is. Also possibly Coonskinner now that his high paying job as a district youth official has ended.
Me? Whine about how liberal the UPC is? Please provide a reference for this accusation.

For your information, I, sir, do NOT whine.

You meanie, you! I can't believe you would rail on me like that. It's terrible to treat someone that way. Of all the non-Christian things to do. You have really hurt my feelings. I hope I can stop crying by General Conference. I am highly offended. Don't ever do that again..............

Kansas Preacher,

I owe you an apology. You have never made a post that could be construed as "whining". It was a poorly thought out post and written in haste.

I hope you will forgive me. I wil try to do better in the future when I paint with my broad brush.
