Neither was mine.....but it's still very long, eh?? My husband would like me to style it, but I don't know, I do like it long. I've trimmed it but that's about it. Someday I might do more. I don't know.

Mine is even shorter now than it was then.
I cut it when I started clinical. They want my hair off my collar, but I can't put anything in my hair to keep it up, so I cut it above my collar.
It's hair. It grows.

It won't happen overnight. I do think it will happen. As I said earlier, it will be a culmination of several events, one of which is a gradual exodus of the conservative to ultra-conservatives as the tire of the continual fight to keep what they feel is the minimal acceptable standards of separation. The ascension of the progressives into leadership positions, many of whom only follow separation because it is the "right thing" to do for unity's sake. The call for tolerance and relevance will continue to ring from the rafters and the UPCI will move steadily left. Take a look at the PAW... when the preponderance of leadership heads in a certain direction, an AM or a KH or even a PM from IN will not stop the shift.
This is just my view from the cheap seats so take it as such. It is not a condmenation nor is it a panicked cry that the passage of Resolution #4 is the end of the UPCI...

Wow...I never looked at it like that before. You are a wise one, PJ!

Bro. Jones, This is a very good assessment of the future IMO.
I have read many of the posts on several threads and several have alluded to the ALJC as an example. This argument is somewhat flawed. As I mentioned in another post, the ALJC has allowed TV nearly from their beginning. So the difference is that the ALJC folks have grown up accustomed to TV, and for most of them it is a non issue.
The UPCI folks on the other hand took a stand against it, and this is seen now as a removal or erosion of principle. As PJ mentioned the PAW would have never thought they would be where they are now 50 years ago, but last year they debated the necessity of Water Baptism, and speaking in tongues. Why? Because of an erosion of principles over the years.

And 50 years from now, the TV will not be an issue in the UPC either, and most in the org will have grown accustomed to it, and won't see any more of a difference then than we do now in preaching on radio, which was also preached against at one time.
