Well, they took about a gallon of blood (ok, a little exaggeration here), and they took off the heart monitor this morning. I think the blood tests come back today, hopefully before I leave town. I did get to spend some time talking to Bro. Harold Jaco, who was also in the lab for some tests. He's the Dist. Secretary (I think) for the TN District UPC. Always a very nice guy!
And, this trip, by the way, is a three night FUN trip to Cancun, not a missions trip!!! So this is one I really need to make for ME!. Hopefully the doctor won't stop me from going.
Thanks for everyone's prayers. I'll let you know something when I hear. My heart was definitely acting weird last night when I went to bed. I could take my pulse and it was very erratic. Kind of freaked me out!
You still shouldn't go. traveling is often stressful, the hassles, packing, trying to make your flights and all. you need to just lay flat on your back and rest. no running around, no hustle bustle, nothing but bed rest

Thad, GET REAL!!! This is the only way I CAN relax, if I leave town! I will lay on the beach and eat well (healthy!!) and have a few days of just me and Eddie. That will be most restful.
Well, Thad should be proud of me. We ended up not going after all. We had church in Memphis Tuesday night and spent the night, planning on flying out in the morning to Cancun. My heart was doing very strange rhythms that night and Eddie just told me to call and cancel the trip and we would just stay in Memphis a few nights. Well, we lost the whole $1200, but at least we knew that if I needed a doctor or E.R., there was a decent one around! We stayed at the new Westin on Beale Street and it was a really nice relaxing time. We didn't even tell anyone we were in the country, other than our families; we knew that if people knew we were in the "home area", we would get WAY too many phone calls and would end up doing church work.
I am supposed to hear back from my doctor by Monday morning. I'm hoping that the tests did not reveal anything too weird. Maybe I just need a change in meds. But I definitely do not feel normal, whatever that is!!!!!
One good thing.........all we had with us was clothes for hot weather, so we had to go shopping and buy some warmer clothes! I'm all about the shopping!

You have been in my prayers, Sherri...trusting the One who does all things well!!
Still praying for you. Glad you got some rest. I had a friend that this happened to this summer. There was a problem with her heart rhythms. She was in the hospital a couple of days until they got her meds straight. She is doing well now. Be sure to follow up with the Doc.
this is the first I've seen this, but I am praying right now.
I believe this, tho, my sister: God does not start something that He doesn't plan to finish. He never does things half way. And He always does things right on time.
So if He began a good work in you a few years ago, He will finish that work. In HIS way and in HIS time
In the meantime, we'll all hold you up in prayer before the throne of Grace.

GUESS WHAT????? My doctor and his wife came to our early service today and LOVED it!! They said that they will definitely come back. They thought the praise & worship was awesome; it was especially great today. And he loved Eddie's preaching. Since it was the first day of a new series, I'm hoping that they will come back for the rest of it. Maybe this was the whole purpose in me having this little heart issue; to get them to church!
He did tell me today that my blood work all came back good, and he is just waiting on my heart monitor test. I have to call him tomorrow to find out. I am hoping maybe they will just change my meds and that will take care of it.
There was a prophet and his wife at our church today from New Zealand, just visiting with some of our people. I have heard of them for years, but had never met them. We had them come in Eddie's office and pray for us between services. He prophesied over us and it was awesome. He is not one of those loud, agressive type prophets. He is very sweet and soft spoken and you could feel the power of God in that office so strong! I left there feeling so great this morning.
