i would agree that at one time Rome repped Mystery Babylon, yes; but no more, imo.

To those who believe that all prophecies were fulfilled in 70 AD, then there can
be no Babylon! To them, most, if not all, of Revelations is irrelevant. Is that what you mean?

hmm, well, i'm using "Babylon" as a metaphor for satan's worldly organization; as i assume most people do. Yet i believe that quite a few prophecies were fulfilled in 70 ad...so, not sure how to answer that. satan pretty obviously still has worldly control, i think.

Jesus told us Babylon was old jerusalem. Matt. 23:35 & Rev 18:24. No other city was called a harlot in scripture if we let bible interpret bible. See Revelation's Old Testament counterpart' mirror and parallel... Ezekiel... Especially chapter 16.

ha well, me too; but let's admit that Babylon was once...Babylon; then perhaps we might get to (by...dragging...ourselves...oh...so...slowly...) some deeper, essential truth.
