I totally agree.
Yet many preach their "wise guidance" as dogma equal to Scripture. For example, beards. They'll tell you beards are "sin". Some will even say one is in danger of Hell itself over a beard.
These are clearly taking their own opinions and "feelings" and teaching them as doctrine.

Nowhere did the apostles tell the Jews to look like the Romans or the Romans to look like the Jews. We see all through the OT the Jews had beards.
