The Eulogy Begins

Astonishing Commentary from Friday

Quote:
An older lady was standing with me today, openly weeping as she said: "Today I have lost my heritage.....the heritage that I have had all my life."

Another elder told me: "I can make it, I'm almost retired. It is you young guys that I'm worried about."

We shall look back upon this day with astonishment. We have seen history today.

(name removed)
epilogue:

Those who ignore history in the pursuit of a mis-perceived destiny, are destined to fail.

My sympathies to those who thought they were helping the UPCI progress, but will instead help preside over its demise.

BTW, as I left the Marriott today, Clint Brown and Tommy Tenney were arriving with their entourages. Are the vultures arriving already?

With sorrow in my heart, I thank God that my father didn't live to see this day and be broken-hearted.

Yes, I share your fears, but I don't believe this has to be the end.

Could it be the beginning of the end? Maybe, but only if those who loved the beginning abandon ship.

Could it be the end of the beginning? Certainly, and that would mean many great days are ahead.

Hide and watch. God will still be on the throne tomorrow, and the next day and the next. And if the UPC is no longer the right instrument, then God will use another. It shall be well.

It SHALL be WELL.

Is this a joke or are you trying to be serious? Over the right to advertise your church and take your message to the world? Give me a break!

I totally agree. This always gets funnier, though. And that is sad.

As funny as a mouth full of gold teeth.
