Bottom line is that if some of those Pentecostal Pioneers tried to get on the platform of a many modern ultra con churches they would be escorted out of the building.

Don't bring it up in a sermon and you might get fired. Even if the book was written by the mother of the guy that fired you. Ask Loren Yadon.

Everybody,
Please note that Scotty has decreed that no one can ever disagree with any old time Oneness Pentecostal standards, doctrines, or traditions on AFF.
Please confine your discussion to the various methods of making peanut brittle and other fundraising activities or just how much holier your particular church is than the neighboring OP one.
Re: David Bernard Weighs In on General Board Decis
I think the no facial fuzz fad faded with the turn of the century... It has been years since I even heard anyone TRY to give a reasonable defense for it.

I am a firm believer in the Old Paths
Articles on such subjects as "The New Birth," will be accepted, whether they teach that the new birth takes place before baptism in water and Spirit, or that the new birth consists of baptism of water and Spirit. - THE PENTECOSTAL HERALD Dec. 1945
"It is doubtful if any Trinitarian Pentecostals have ever professed to believe in three gods, and Oneness Pentecostals should not claim that they do." - Daniel Segraves

Very much so. I found it funny he was telling everybody who has an issue with the extra biblical legalism they shouldn't say anything about it since they are not UPC, etc. As if you have to be UPC to discuss UPC issues.
Many of us have our roots in the UPC and still have many friends and family members that are a part of it so it is still important to us. Not to mention I have hope that it will progress to a point where it will get beyond the extra biblical legalism and truly bring Jesus Name Baptism to the world and the rest of Christendom.
