I'll consider that when someone drinks too many Coca-Colas, and then blacks out for the rest of the night. I'll consider that when someone goes on a 7-Up binge and smacks their wife around. I'll consider that when someone downs a 6-pack of Mt. Dew and crashes their car into a busload of kids.
Sugar water vs. alcohol......
The two aren't even remotely similar.
Now, I know what some people are going to say. Alcohol didn't make them do those things, it just revealed who they are inside. And while that's true to an extent, it's also true that alcohol lowers inhibitions and makes you more open to things you would never consider doing otherwise. I prefer to remain in control of my faculties.

The toxic shock of sugar and the mind altering substances are different. Sugar in moderation cannot be compared to whiskey in moderation.

Yet they are both sin and there is not level of sin. Sin is sin we are the ones that keep making one sin more evil than another, but in Gods eyes it is all the same.

That's why Paul admonished not drink in excess.

Really?!
Sugar is sinful?
Is honey sinful as well?
Num.14
[8] If the LORD delight in us, then he will bring us into this land, and give it us; a land which floweth with milk and honey.
I guess the honey was just to tempt the Israelites and see if they could keep the Faith.

Can you provide some scripture for this opinion?
If we blaspheme the Holy Ghost is that a different level of sin? Or are all sins equal?
(I say this as I enjoy some sinfully delicious maple sandwich cookies.)
But I’m drinking ice water.

I think he was saying if you eat until you become a tree sloth it’s sinful.

How about if they drink down a case of Mountain Dew in a day?

Sounds like someone on the verge of barfing. I'm pretty sure you can't drink that much in a single day and survive.

I have a guy at one of the jobs who has an ice case full of Dew. Drinks them all day long. You would be surprised what the population is consuming. We are a nation of hardcore addicts.
