I know that this may come as a surprise to some, but several of the LA names on that list are not even in the UPC... in fact they are not in ANY organization.

I'm sorry, but I cannot resist. I do not understand why it is so bad for a person to follow their own convictions. Why do others have to put down or make fun of the fact that these men do not believe as others, just as you don't believe as they do. They are not on AFF putting you down for what you believe. They are just going their own way. If you want to follow, fine. I don't think they are forcing anyone to follow. These are grown men. They are following their convictions, just as you are following yours.

LB, or his son?, is on the Apostolic Bible Quizzing committee also ... his qualifications are listed on their site ...
Larry Booker is currently a software programmer at Raytheon Missile Systems. He attends Inland Lighthouse Church in Rialto, Ca. He has been involved in quizzing in a variety of capacities since 1988. He quizzed for 8 years from 1988-1999. He was on the quiz team which placed 1st at the NABQT in 1995. The team which he quizzed on placed first at four consecutive district finals tournaments (1994-1997). His background includes:
- Writing QuizzerTools software which is used nationally by many top-ranking teams
- Writing question writing software used by the Western District for the last two years
- Writing digital scoresheet and statistic software used by the Western District
Awards he has received include: - 1996: Western District finals high-scoring champion award

Booker apparently just secured the domain for the WPF after Thanksgiving ... about the time they were having meetings ...
It's faily obvious that Booker is running hard w/ this org concept ... and might be the first GS ...
it's my understanding he's presiding over the meeting?

I totally agree with you on this one...thank you for saying that!
These that claim MY was always liberal!? Yes maybe in the years you knew him, afterall weren't we all liberal in our age 15 - 19 years. If you can even call it liberal, I call it growing up! But you know once we REALLY get our OWN walk with God!!!! We mature and have influences from our mentors, what's wrong with being mentored by a conservative dad or FIL. We all choose what road we take!!! Some choose the high road and some the low road!
