Good. No one is denying you that right. Go ahead erect a monument to the man! Maybe a tabernacle, maybe two tabernacles, one for Doug and the other for John... ( Matthew 17:4)

By "real" you must mean carnal? Like "oh brother, get carnal."
Just chalk me up as one of those "stupid people" God made. (Oh and you might want to read James 3:9 to see if your signature line meets biblical standards...)

Brother, I probably don't meet any BIBLICAL standards in your eyes, but your opinion isn't really the one that counts.
BTW, I don't mean CARNAL, I mean REAL, HUMAN, FLESH, LIVING IN THE WORLD!!!!
Have a wonderful evening, sir. May the Lord God bless ya real good!!!!

Good grief. Chips. Shoulders. Stupid.
Coonskinner is one of my favorite posters, even WITH spelling errors (more like TYPOS), in fact, I'd probably rate him in the top TWO. And I DON'T read everyone's posts, simply because some are too boring to waste my time on, and if they aren't good enough to catch my attention with the first sentence, they've lost me.
I filter out speakers about the same way. Yep. Very carnal of me. Must be because, as a PK, I've heard scriptures all my life, and unless someone has something new or interesting to say, I've heard it before, AND I can read it for myself. (Or probably quote it.) Therefore MY favorite speakers are those who can grab my attention, and give me something new and fresh that I haven't heard before (hard to do), OR preach something old in a very new way.
Yeah, Jesus is my favorite. Mostly, though, I like the preachers who can QUOTE Him in an interesting way, without adding the monotone drone that I'm sure HE doesn't deserve. I can't recall hearing Jesus preach anytime in my lifetime, so I have to stick with having favorite Jesus-Quoters.

Please sir... It's obvious she loves God more than men! She never said she loved men more than God and her love for the word of God is very obvious... Your post is very rude! You do need to lighten up. You sound very bitter... how sad!

Thanks but I don't want to "live in the world," I have a much higher aspiration than that. Not that I always make it, but I don't want to excuse carnal, non-biblical thinking as "reality" and everything else as idealism.

I find it weird that someone who loves Jesus more than men, must spend any time at all rebuking others for loving men more than Jesus. It shows a focus on the failures of men that Jesus never had.

How about seafood gumbo? I think you would really love it.
Full of crawdads, and skrimps, and nutria.

Is it just me, or is there a mess of posters who have something in their "craw" today, and they're just picking on folks because they're feeling particularly snarly?
Maybe it's just my imagination. I am quite the dreamer.
