My good friend Steve Willoughby

Courtesy of NLYP, I just got to talk to my good friend, Steve Willouhgby on the phone, after he finished preaching at BOTT. I was supposed to visit him in Singapore on my last trip to Korea, but he was with Barb in the states.

I know most of you know him and his style of preaching. He is a preaching machine and a man who certainly loves the Lord and a worshipper! Please continue to pray for Barb, his wife. They believe God has healed her and I am believing with them as well.

He and Barb and I were in ABI together. We had some awesome times.

Dan sent me a text that Steve was preaching and I told him that if he could get to him to tell him that I have been praying for he and Barb. Dan told me to stick close to my phone and he would let me tell him myself.

Dan the man DELIVERS!!!!!!!!

Thanks, Dan!!!!

The Willoughby's are special people. My dad, Bro. Worrell, was pastor at the church where he grew up and our families lived across the street from each other when we were kids. I have to admit that at times I could have killed him and my brother! It's wonderful to see Steve's ministry, but boy could I tell you some stories about his younger days!

Yeah, I just started to say that he and Eddie ran around together when they were teenagers. I don't think either of them thought that they would end up preaching! LOL!

Yeah, I knew Eddie when we were teenagers!! We all had some great times especially "on the hill"

Steve was always dedicated and a good guy - just always up to his fun and a little bit of meanness (just a good old country boy having fun!) .... but now those MOODS he had that we all had to put up with - goodness!! Lord knows he kept my daddy praying a lot back then!! He was like the OTHER big brother to me - the good and the bad!! He was a good friend to me.

And believe it or not - at one time he had a thick head of blonde hair and oh was he finicky about his hair!

The only time I met Steve, he had thick blond hair. I met his sister Cindy too at some point - very pretty gal.
