Yes I meant to say 3-2... WOW.. that was a close game...
Did you see the last goal opportunity for Pittsburgh?????? We came SERIOUSLY close to going into overtime again!
I must confess, LPW, I got a little high and lifted up on MOnday night, stopped praying, because I thought we had it in the bag.
WEll, you know the scripture says that pride goeth before destruction, and a haughty spirit before a fall........so, for the last two days, I've humbled myself and prayed and fasted for my beloved WIngs, and I'm so thrilled to say that my prayers paid off!
(For the record, the above statement is totally untrue - I did not fast)

Well, she's all over but the crying.
Osgood won the game for them. He's Canadian!
Omaha is so FLAT!
Really, Omaha isn't that flat, we're right on the Missouri river and it's fairly hilly.......this is about two hours from Omaha, it was taken by the friend of a neighbor, and she emailed it out.

I was going to say, I've got some requests you can pray about. HA
I have to say, I went to bed Monday night and never thought about the game again till tonight. I'm a fan, but not hardcore.
Osgood won that game for them... would have been neat to see it go to game 7.

It would have been nice to win it in Detroit, but we couldn't afford to take the chance. The Pens are too good to take chances with.
Touch of class by the Pitt fans tho, they are cheering as the Cup is being brought out.

Looks mighty flat in that picture!
Do you have many trees?
New Brunswick (province I live in.. equivilent of your states) is mostly rolling hills and 80% woodland!
Our city is set on the banks of a beautiful river and there are pleanty of trees. I love it here. I've always wanted to get down further into the midwest and southern states... see the landscape firsthand.

Well, as I said, that picture was taken in Kearney, which is about two hours away.
However, we do not have too many trees in Omaha, especially in our part of town. We live in West Omaha, which is fairly new ...... and we're planting trees, but it's going to take them a while to grow!
Michigan has many more trees, lots of water, etc.........but, I like it out here.

Were you from Michigan?
I'm trying to remember where everything is located down there... Nebraska is a couple states away from Michigan isn't it?

Canada is alright.
I prefer the Atlantic regions, but London is similar to where I live.
Much larger population... by about half a million. lol
Well, the hockey battle is over for another year. We're giong to Boston in August and are going to a Red Sox/Toronto game... I'm going to be torn between loyalties!
Must go!
Night.
