Why cant they go to the store when it's off peak hours? It's not like they have anything else to do?? Seriously?
I get so fed up with folks who are not considerate of other people's time and they just take FOREVER when it is UNNECESSARY!

The interesting part is these are the people who have lived life long enough to realize that life is too precious to rush through it. This is a sore inconvenience for those of us who have not. LOL
The season doesn't have time for such folks.

not on my lunch hour or on my way to work - when I have to run in walgreens to pick up something essential.
Nope, I do not have time.

Funny thing, I was just griping to my dad about this subject this morning, and he told me the funniest thing. Yesterday he took my mom to the mall and he dropped her off at the door and went to find a parking space.
He drove his car around another car that was parked at the curb letting an old woman get out. He said "I wasn't mad or honking my horn or rushing them, I just pulled around them", and as he drove past, the old man (mind you, my dad is in his early 60's, so for him to say old man, this guy had to have been pushin 80) turned to him and flashed his middle finger!!!

Re: Things that drive you CRAZY this time of year.
This is a healthy venting session.
I LOVE Christmas time, but like most of you, some things can really get me. Cheesiness the chief of all. Anything cheesy: sweaters, Oriental Trading gifts, decor, etc
But I LOVE Christmas music, especially newer songs, re-made songs mixed with the traditional standards. Also, love how the family gets together, the "cheer" that is felt by all, doing good things like toy drives and food drives for people and making them smile, Christmas pageants/plays/concerts at the church, the reading of The Christmas Story, and a million other things that are so great about Christmas.

Oh Lord yes. And I also end up behind them in my car as they drive the speed limit or 5 mph under -side by side, so you can't pass them.
1) They wait for the total at the register before even opening their check book.
2) "Do you have a pen?"
3) spend a minute writing it in their registry.
4) "How much can I write this check over for?" -sometimes before #3 and sometimes after.
5) "Who do I make it out to?"
6) Put their checkbook away (after slowly tearing the check out for the check out person).

Naw, they just woke up one morning and found that the neurons responsable for "consideration" died.
