My former husband's mom has cancer and lost all her hair. She was gray and had long, long hair. She's wearing a brown short-haired wig and it looks nuts! It's old-timey looking and just looks terrible on her.
She has a pretty gray one that we fixed that looks so good on her, but she won't wear it because she feels guilty because it looks so good and it's short.

Accepting everyone no matter what they look like if a lady has cancer going through chemo and has no or little hair but wants to play on the platform and has a music talent then let her. According to these platform standards she could not unless she had a wig on and she might not be able to afford a wig

Speak for yourself. Platform standards do affect a lot of us. Even though these are General Conference specific, they're still worthy of discussion.
I don't particularly mind rules, although some of the motivation behind platform standards is bothersome.
Rule #7 on the provided list illustrates one of those bothersome points.

What's bothersome is there are many posters here who have over 2,000 post, and yet within their membership on AFF, they've never witnessed to a soul "in actual life."
They got the audacity to complain about church, yet they couldn't win a soul if their life depended on it!
Sad case of.......................
