If it means anything, I type very fast (not sure why) and I can throw out 200 posts in no time.

Good point, too. But I still would want a sincere bible believer involved in that area as well. The bible says to not be unequally yoked together with unbelievers. And I would want someone attending the church regularly, as well, and I might assume you would not be interested in faithfully hearing the bible preached, would you? I know of none who would be interested in regularly hearing things they did not believe in.

Oh but I do! Our church has many of them every Sunday and they are regular attenders. I'm pretty confident that Timmy would enjoy and regularly attend our Sunday gatherings.

yeah you are, I've been here twice as long as you. Do me a favor, pick up the phone and call Singletary, they can at least live vicariously through your posting victory.
'Cause they ain't winning nothin' anytime soon.

Re: Would You Put Timmy On Your Church Board?
If Timmy were an accountant, and my church needed an accountant, I'd probably call. If he were an attorney and my church needed an attorney, I'd definitely consider him for the job. If he were a construction or building trades person, mechanic, or whatever and that's what we needed, I'd consider him. If we needed a web designer for the church website... well... I don't know about that one... there might be a side link built in somewhere... with tumbleweeds and "come help us out" or some such... @Timmy. Actually would consider him for that one too. (But I would thoroughly check all my links after the site was built!! ) If, however, I needed someone to help direct the business of the church or to assist in conducting business or leading others in the church, I would prefer members for that.

Re: Would You Put Timmy On Your Church Board?
Experience speaking.........Church boards NEED diversity to remain anti-political. Timmy would make a great board member! If everyone on the Board agrees, we are ALL DOOMED! That's why I check this Forum every day..to be challenged and not get "Stuck". I vote, YEY!!
