I called him the little shrub, a far cry from the names that so-called Christians are calling Obama. I wonder if the name little shrub incited people to throw bricks through windows or calling for the death of an American citizen. Some how I don't think so. Oh yeah I did call him a repugnant. I wonder if that name cause someone to cut the gas line to a congressman's home. BTW the guy got the wrong house.

I am told that before the 2008 election there was a published prophecy that the next president would not be known as a religious man, but in office he would change into a superb and very effective Christian. May this prophecy come true of the current president, and may he change his tune regarding those issues where the Lord wants him to change, and so may we also come to change our tune in how we think about him.

I know that this is just an executive order and doesn't have any real teeth and that it doesn't override the law of the land. However, those who would tear Obama apart for making such an executive should be asked if they oppose it. Do they wish that Obama didn't issue this order? Do they oppose the principles embodied in this executive order? Would they rather have had Obama give an executive order making federal funds for abortion manditory?

With Roe v Wade, I don't see much that can be done about abortion accept executive orders in regards to funding.

One more thing...

I'm a bit disturbed with so many calling the President a "baby killer".

First, like him or not... Obama is our President and we are called to respect his office and pray for him.

Second, unless Obama has personally ordered the abortion of a child or performed one himself he isn't a baby killer. I find it interesting that our society allows for individual "choice" in regards to abortion, yet we put the blame on politicians instead of the women who procure the abortions. Why not call these women "baby killers"? Next time you're behind the pulpit at church let the congregation know that if any woman present has had an abortion she's a "baby killer". Then blame would be properly placed. Because even with "choice" in our society there wouldn't be any abortion if individual women didn't choose abortion. But I'm willing to wager that most will agree... calling women "baby killers" from the pulpit would be in appropriate. I'm just making a point.

The onus for abortion is on the individual women who make that choice. Not a politician. This is what bothers me about the political side of the pro-life movement. It exploits the termination of human life for political gain and fails to put responsibility where it really is... in the hands of individual women who choose abortion.

President Obama will sign an executive order barring the law from allowing federally funded abortion, but he'll do so behind closed doors and with no media allowed.

Not even a photographer will be allowed into the Oval Office to capture the moment.
